Job summary

Curtiss-Wright TTC in Newtown, PA is seeking a Principal Hardware Engineer to lead mixed-signal PWB design, including analog, digital, power, and FPGA/microcontroller systems. You will act as the senior technical authority for hardware development, guiding cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, manufacturable solutions aligned with long-term goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical or related Engineering discipline.
• 15–20+ years of progressive hardware engineering experience with increasing leadership responsibility.
• Expert-level understanding of electronic components, integrated circuitry or DSP technologies.
• Experience leading complex hardware design initiatives from concept to release.
• Strong cross-functional communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development and optimization of advanced hardware systems, equipment, components and processes to meet requirements (20%).
• Analyze specifications and system requirements to define technical solutions (20%).
• Direct validation testing, evaluate results and establish standards for hardware systems (20%).
• Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation and procedures (20%).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve design issues and lead teams through execution (20%).
