Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Certified Hand Therapist to deliver specialized rehabilitation for the hand, wrist, elbow, and shoulder.

Responsibilities include evaluations, splinting, and developing recovery plans; collaborate with surgeons, therapists, and students in an interdisciplinary setting. Requires CHT and state licensure with a strong emphasis on upper-extremity rehab.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• DPT or DOT preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and establish a plan of care for hand/upper-extremity rehab.
• Provide therapeutic interventions appropriate to patient age and condition.
• Document Occupational Therapy/hand therapy services.
• Supervise OTAs, students, and support staff.
• Fabricate and fit custom orthoses and splints; educate on care and use.
• Treat post-surgical, tendon, nerve, and trauma cases; participate in scar management.
• Collaborate with hand surgeons and other therapists for care planning.
