Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a Lead Ground Maintenance Technician (GMT) in a stationary role to lead and supervise a team of Stationary Ground Maintenance Technicians, Stationary Ground Maintenance Mechanics, and Maintenance Utility Employees in planning and laying out work.

The Lead GMT ensures proper use of equipment and materials to complete routine and non-routine maintenance on stationary ground support equipment.

Qualifications

• Electrical/mechanical troubleshooting and repair on stationary ground support equipment.
• Completes data entry to record work assignments and communicates with Company personnel as needed.
• Inspecting, servicing, troubleshooting, repairing, replacing, and overhauling all ground support equipment and components such as jetways and baggage conveyor systems.

Responsibilities

As a Lead Ground Maintenance Technician (GMT) in a stationary role, you will join Delta’s Ground Support Equipment team, where you will lead and supervise a group of Stationary Ground Maintenance Technicians (GMT) Stationary Ground Maintenance Mechanics (GMM) and Maintenance Utility 1 Employees (MUE1) in planning and laying out work. The Lead GMT utilizes appropriate equipment and material to accomplish all routine and non-routine maintenance functions on stationary ground support equipment.
