Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Ground Maintenance Mechanic (GMM) in a stationary role at our Atlanta site. You will perform routine and non-routine maintenance on stationary equipment, inspect and repair components, clean assemblies, and coordinate with GSE supervision to ensure operations stay on schedule.

The role requires at least 6 months in an industrial mechanical setting, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50–70 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must have safety-focused approach and comply with company policies.
• Must be 18+ with authorization to work in the United States.
• Requires high school diploma or GED; valid driver's license.
• Must be proficient in English and physically able to lift 50–70 pounds.
• Willing to work fixed or rotating shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must pass entry tests to assess required task performance.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine maintenance on stationary machinery and equipment.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, remove and replace components, clean and assemble.
• Maintain baggage handling and ground support equipment systems as assigned.
• Document issues and report to GSE supervision.
