Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Ground Maintenance Technician (GMT) in a stationary role to join its Ground Support Equipment team. You will perform repairs and preventive maintenance on motors, PLCs, pneumatic and conveyor systems, and machine shop equipment, using diagrams, manuals, and specifications to resolve malfunctions.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, completing maintenance reports, and maintaining inventory levels.

Qualifications

• Must have safety-first mindset and work-safe practices.
• Proficiency in English and ability to work in the United States.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to read and interpret diagrams, manuals, and schematics.
• Completion of a two-year technical degree or three years of demonstrated ability.

Responsibilities

• Locate and troubleshoot problems using precision measuring tools.
• Inspect parts to determine dimensional changes and ensure fit.
• Repair, calibrate, and maintain mechanical, electro-mechanical, and electronic equipment.
• Maintain inventories and log parts and supplies.
• Prepare maintenance reports and analyze trends.
