Job summary

Delta Air Lines, Inc. is seeking a Ground Maintenance Mechanic (Motorized) at JFK to support the Ground Support Equipment team.

The role requires 6 months of vehicle/heavy equipment maintenance experience and knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as applied to industrial powered equipment. Responsibilities include performing minor maintenance, assisting senior technicians, and recording work data.

Qualifications

• 6 months' experience in a vehicle or heavy equipment maintenance environment.
• Understanding of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields as applied to industrial powered systems.
• Experience with motorized ground support equipment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Apply tooling, equipment, and materials to perform minor maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and component replacement on Ground Support Equipment.
• Assist Lead or other Ground Maintenance Technicians on motorized equipment as needed.
• Complete data entry to record work and coordinate with other company personnel.
