Job summary

Delta Air Lines is seeking a Ground Maintenance Technician (Stationary) to join its Ground Support Equipment team at New York area airports. You will repair and maintain motors, PLCs, pneumatic systems, conveyors, and shop equipment, using manuals and diagrams to resolve issues.

Eligible candidates may receive a $5,000 sign-on bonus with $2,500 after 90 days and the remaining $2,500 after 180 days. NYC transit reimbursement is available for some employees.

Qualifications

• Must have safety-focused approach and ability to work with others.
• High school diploma or GED required; post-secondary technical training preferred.
• Two-year degree or 3+ years of demonstrated ability required per role.
• English proficiency and valid driver's license required.
• Ability to lift 50–70 pounds and perform shift work as needed.

Responsibilities

• Locate problems by observing mechanical devices and testing.
• Inspect parts to determine dimensional changes with precise tools.
• Troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and calibrate equipment across Stationary GSE.
• Maintain inventories and log stock levels; place orders and track receipt.
• Prepare maintenance reports by analyzing data and trends.
