Job summary

Luzerne County Community College seeks an Assistant Director of Student Success to provide operational leadership for AREI, KEYS, ACT 101, and other grant-funded programs. You will oversee budgets, reporting, assessment, and staff, ensuring program outcomes support student persistence and belonging.

The role partners with advisement and counseling to connect students with resources, coordinate orientations and transitions, and analyze data to drive program improvements.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Counseling, Student Affairs, Higher Education, Human Services, Social Work, Public Administration, Crisis Intervention, or closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide operational leadership for grant-funded programs and student success initiatives.
• Supervise assigned staff and coordinate program activities and timelines.
• Collaborate with Advisement, Counseling, and other departments to connect students with resources.
• Analyze participation rates and outcomes to improve programs and student engagement.
• Coordinate recruitment, enrollment, and retention activities in line with grant requirements.
