Job summary

Lackawanna College seeks a Center Director to oversee all programs, services and activities at the Center, ensuring compliance with federal, state, institutional and accreditation guidelines. You will supervise staff and drive program evaluations to meet community needs.

Qualifications

• Five (5) years of Educational or Business management experience required.
• Experience in Higher Education, sales and marketing preferred.
• Experience with diverse populations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily enrollment, academic and continuing education operations (admissions, financial aid, advising, registration, billing).
• Monitors student accounts with Student Accounts to ensure payments are up to date.
• Develops Center retention plans with Admissions and Student Affairs.
• Hires, supervises, evaluates Center staff and adjunct faculty.
• Coordinates budget development and ensures profitability and compliance.
• Creates course schedules for degree programs and continuing education.
• Develops and implements marketing plans in collaboration with College Advancement.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business or related field

Master’s Degree preferred
