Cedar Crest College seeks an Assistant Director of Learning Support Services to oversee tutoring programs and lead academic success initiatives from enrollment to graduation. You will supervise tutoring staff and manage ThinkingStorm and FinishLine systems, while developing recovery plans for students in academic difficulty.

The role requires a Master’s degree in Higher Education or related field and 2+ years in higher education, with strong collaboration across faculty and staff to enhance

• Master’s degree in Higher Education or related field.
• At least two years of higher education experience; staff supervision preferred.
• Knowledge of learning support theories and principles.
• Experience supporting at-risk student populations.
• Ability to collaborate with faculty and staff.
• Experience designing or conducting training programs.
• Experience supervising student or professional staff.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

Responsabilidades

• Hire tutors for tutoring and instructional programs.
• Design and conduct tutor training and development.
• Oversee professional tutoring staff and lead regular meetings.
• Manage tutor payroll, schedules, reports, and evaluations.
• Coordinate ThinkingStorm services and monitor usage.
• Manage FinishLine reports and ensure students access resources.
• Support students with low academic standing and develop recovery plans.
• Collaborate with campus partners to deliver learning support programs.
• Hold academic coaching appointments and train faculty in coaching tools.
• Assist in evaluation of learning resources and faculty collaboration.
