Job summary

Lackawanna College is seeking a Center Director to supervise all programs and services at the Center. You will ensure compliance with federal, state, institutional, and accreditation guidelines while leading staff and adjunct faculty.

You will develop budgets, schedule degree and continuing education programs, and collaborate on marketing with the College Advancement team to expand community engagement and program offerings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Business or related field required.
• Master’s Degree preferred.
• Five (5) years of Educational or Business management experience is required.
• Experience in Higher Education, sales and marketing field preferred.
• Experience working with people from all age groups and diverse backgrounds preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily enrollment, academic and continuing education operations.
• Monitor student accounts with admissions and finance teams.
• Develop and implement Center retention plans for all students.
• Hire, supervise, evaluate and provide leadership to Center staff.
• Recruit and support adjunct faculty and continuing education instructors.
• Develop the Center’s budget and ensure profitability and compliance.
• Coordinate course schedules for degree and continuing education programs.
• Collaborate on marketing plans with College Advancement team.
• Engage with external agencies and community groups to support workforce development.
