Job summary

SEG INC, a leading engineering and construction firm, is seeking a Corporate Safety Manager with government construction project experience to drive safety programs across sites. You will develop policies, train teams, and ensure OSHA compliance while fostering a culture of safety.

You will work with site managers and contractors, conduct audits, investigate incidents, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce risk.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Construction Management, Environmental Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of safety management experience within design-build construction.
• At least 3 years in a leadership/managerial role.
• Certifications such as CSP or OHST are highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive safety programs and policies for all construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and local safety laws across sites.
• Conduct regular safety audits and site inspections to identify hazards.
• Investigate incidents and near misses to determine root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Promote a strong safety culture and provide training to employees and subcontractors.
