Salesforce is seeking a GovCloud Distributed Systems Software Engineer (Senior/Lead) to design, develop, and operate large-scale backend services. You will own critical infrastructure, advance AI-driven tooling, and push the boundaries of reliable, secure software across public cloud platforms and data centers.

Formación

• 5+ years backend software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Java, Golang, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience owning and operating multiple instances of a critical service.
• Experience with Agile development methodology and Test Driven Development.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting applications.
• Experience with distributed database systems and PostgreSQL is a plus.
• Genuine AI-first approach to engineering.
• Experience using AI tools in development workflows.
• Advanced prompt engineering skills and structuring prompts.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools, frameworks, workflows, and validation platforms.
• Design, develop, and operate resilient distributed systems across data centers.
• Build and ship high-quality software with AI as a core part of development.
• Use open source tech to improve systems and tooling.
• Develop Infrastructure-as-Code with Terraform.
• Write microservices on Kubernetes, Docker, and Mesos.
• Design complex AI-integrated workflows to scale with humans.
• Contribute to a shared system context for AI reliability.
• Critically evaluate code for correctness, security, and performance.
• Balance live-site management with feature delivery and debt retirement.
• Participate in on-call rotations to keep services up.
