Salesforce is seeking a Senior/Lead Distributed Systems Software Engineer for GovCloud. You will develop and maintain a large-scale backend platform with concurrency and AI-enabled tooling, serving millions of users across government sectors.

You will design resilient systems, own critical services, and contribute to AI-first development with tools like Claude and OpenAI API. A strong backend focus with cloud-native practices is essential.

Formación

• A related technical degree is required.
• 5+ years of backend software development experience.
• Deep knowledge of Java, Golang, Python, or Ruby.
• Experience owning and operating multiple instances of a critical service.
• Experience with Agile development and Test Driven Development.
• Experience with monitoring, alerting, logging, and reporting apps.
• Distributed database systems and PostgreSQL are a plus.
• Genuine AI-first approach to engineering and using AI tools in workflow.
• Advanced prompt engineering skills for reliable AI outputs.

Responsabilidades

• Deliver cloud infrastructure automation tools and validation platforms.
• Design, develop, debug, and operate resilient distributed systems.
• Build production-grade software with AI as a core part of development.
• Contribute to open source tech and infrastructure as code.
• Write microservices on Kubernetes, Docker, Mesos.
• Design systems where AI agents integrate into human workflows.
• Evaluate code for correctness, security, and performance.
• Address live-site issues and balance feature delivery with debt.
