Job summary

Ancala Country Club is seeking a 1st Assistant Golf Professional to support day-to-day golf operations and deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will assist the Director of Golf, manage pace of play, and help oversee tournament operations while supporting staff and merchandising efforts.

Ideal candidates are PGA Members or Apprentices, with 5+ years in golf operations, strong communication, and a customer-service mindset.

Qualifications

• PGA Member or PGA Apprentice in good standing.
• 2 years of college or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of golf operations experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Customer service focused.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all phases of golf operations with Director of Golf.
• Track players, guests, golf cars, lockers, and other charges; ensure proper controls.
• Monitor reservation system and pace of play.
• Develop, manage and oversee tournament operations.
• Assist in merchandise purchasing and receiving.
• Assist in training, supervising and motivating the golf operations staff.
