Job summary

Takeda Pharmaceutical Co. in Boston, MA seeks a Senior Director of Oncology Forecasting to lead the global forecasting function for oncology across marketed products, launches, and pipeline opportunities. You will shape long-term portfolio outlook, governance, and operating discipline to deliver transparent forecasts guiding commercial strategy and resource allocation.

You will partner with Global and U.S. Oncology leadership, Finance, Marketing, and Business Development to advance forecasting

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree is required; an advanced degree is preferred.
12 or more years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or healthcare settings.
Significant forecasting experience supporting commercial pharmaceutical products, including inline brands, launches, lifecycle management, pipeline, and business development.
Demonstrated people leadership experience, including building and developing high-performing teams.
Executive presence to present forecast assumptions, risks, recommendations, and strategic trade-offs to senior leaders.

Responsibilities

Lead forecasting for the Global Oncology portfolio across markets, launches, and pipeline assets.
Set forecasting approach for annual plans, mid-year commitments, long-range forecasts, and scenario analyses.
Lead assessment of portfolio opportunities, risks, and business development initiatives through forecast modeling.
Translate forecast outputs into enterprise-level recommendations for launch readiness and portfolio prioritization.
Present forecast assumptions and strategic implications to executives and influence decisions.
