Job summary

Takeda, based in the United States, seeks an Associate Director to lead Launch/Pre-Launch Forecasting for oncology assets. You will drive forecast strategy across Global Insights and Analytics, align with Marketing, Access, and I&A, and deliver short-, mid-, and long-range forecasts with strategic insights.

You will champion consensus on forecast assumptions, apply advanced analytics to integrate data from multiple sources, and refine forecasting methods for accuracy and agility.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree (Advanced degree preferred).
• Minimum of 6 years of forecasting/finance/business analytics in biopharma, oncology focus.
• Experience with advanced spreadsheets and patient-based forecast modeling.
• Experience with smoothing, regression, time series analyses, and simulation.
• Data analysis and visualization using PowerBI/Tableau.
• Prior launch experience preferred.
• Hands-on experience running complex forecasting models.
• Experience in a highly-matrixed environment.
• Strong project management: plan, prioritize, execute multiple projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to explain complex concepts and drive consensus.
• Analytical skills and knowledge of biopharma databases.
• Knowledge of global access and reimbursement environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain global and US strategic forecasts for key oncology assets.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Access, Medical and I&A teams.
• Lead consensus-building for forecast assumptions.
• Leverage analytics and multi-source data to enhance market insights.
• Implement best-in-class forecast modeling with focus on accuracy and agility.
• Create what-if scenarios and test assumptions with data sources.
• Provide forecast leadership to Finance, Supply, Trade to inform strategy.
