Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with public works and transportation projects.
• California PE license required; GE license preferred or obtainable quickly.
• Strong foundation design, excavation support, seismic risk, and soil-structure interaction knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and execute geotechnical projects including analysis, design, and report preparation.
• Oversee field exploration and laboratory testing programs.
• Provide senior-level technical review of proposals and deliverables.
• Ensure project commitments, schedules, and budgets are met.
• Support business development efforts including proposals and client presentations.
• Supervise and mentor geotechnical engineers, staff, and technicians.
• Participate in industry organizations and professional development activities.
