The role emphasizes collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and applying quality controls to ensure safety and performance. Ideal candidates will have a CA PE/GE license or be in process, strong report writing, and the ability to travel

Qualifications

• 10 to 15 years of geotechnical engineering experience.
• PE license in California and GE license preferred.
• Hands-on site investigation and construction observation experience.
• Strong reporting and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical investigations, planning, drilling oversight, sampling, and field data collection.
• Perform analyses: slope stability, bearing capacity, earth pressure, and seepage.
• Provide construction monitoring, earthwork, and deep foundation observation.
• Prepare investigation reports, memos, calculations, and specs.
• Manage projects, schedules, budgets, and client coordination.
• Mentor junior staff and support business development.
