Jobot is seeking a Geotechnical Engineer at Senior to Associate levels for our Rancho Santa Margarita, CA office. This permanent, on-site role offers a competitive salary and benefits package.

You will join a growing team of engineers and geologists delivering challenging Southern California projects. Required are a California PE license, 10+ years in geotechnical engineering, and proficiency with LPILE, FLAC, and AutoCAD/ArcGIS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering required.
• California PE license required.
• 10+ years geotechnical engineering experience.
• Experience with geotechnical investigations and design.
• Experience preparing geotechnical reports and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead geotechnical field investigations (drilling, sampling, lab tests).
• Analyze subsurface/ geologic data for modeling and design.
• Perform slope stability, liquefaction, and foundation analyses.
• Prepare detailed geotechnical reports and recommendations.
• Manage projects from proposal to delivery and client coordination.
• Use specialized software for analysis, mapping, and design.
• Collaborate with civil, structural, and pavement teams.
• Oversee and mentor junior engineers.
