Job summary

Southern California Edison is seeking a Generation Major Construction Project Manager to lead and deliver large capital projects in the Generation Operations unit. You will guide cross-functional teams, manage scope, schedule, and budget, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance across diverse asset types.

The role requires strong leadership, strategic planning, risk management and experience with scheduling tools like Primavera or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in construction project management.
• Possess a valid Class C Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more moderate to large projects with responsibility for scope, schedule, cost and risk.
• Develops project plans, budgets, and resources; directs activities to meet milestones.
• Leads teams including SCE staff, ICs, and contractors in major projects and programs.
• Engages with management and presents to executives on milestones and issues.
• Provides project leadership for safety and compliance, ensuring injury-free work and standards.
• Develops cost estimates, budgets, and approves expenditures; manages change control.
