Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking an Engineering Manager for Integrated Major Project Development in the Transmission and Substation Project Development organization. The role leads interconnection customer project development, coordinating across planning, engineering, contracts, environment, land, protection, and construction teams to deliver high-voltage interconnection projects.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of combined experience performing or supervising engineering work.
• Experience in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads engineering and business initiatives to develop grid strategies and operations.
• Develops and maintains a project portfolio management system to prioritize projects and allocate resources.
• Evaluates new technologies to improve project efficiency, cost-effectiveness and safety.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with external partners, vendors and contractors for project delivery.
• Coaches engineering teams on professional development opportunities.
• Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy, technology and safety program.
