Job summary

Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking an Engineering Manager, Integrated Major Project Development, to lead a team of engineers across transmission and subtransmission interconnections at >50 kV. This hybrid role is based in California with travel and cross-functional collaboration across planning, project management, and external partners.

You will oversee scope, cost, and schedule inputs, drive safety programs, and coordinate stakeholders to ensure timely handoffs to execution.

Qualifications

• Five or more years of combined experience performing or supervising engineering work.
• Experience in operations, production, construction or maintenance environments.

Responsibilities

• Leads a select set of engineering and business initiatives to develop grid strategies and determine how the grid is planned, designed, operated, and maintained to operationalize company strategy.
• Develops and maintains a project portfolio management system to prioritize projects, allocate resources, and monitor performance.
• Establishes and maintains relationships with external partners, vendors, and contractors to support project delivery and innovation.
• Coaches engineering teams on professional development opportunities to enhance their skills and knowledge.
• Leads the development and implementation of a comprehensive strategy, technology and safety program to ensure company advancement toward future vision and the well-being of employees and contractors involved in engineering projects.
