Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a Civil Structural Engineering Project Manager in California to oversee major construction projects supporting power plants across diverse facilities. You will manage technical plans, schedules, and resources, coordinating across multiple teams and stakeholders to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in engineering project management, a Civil Engineering degree, and a PE license, with PMP preferred.

Qualifications

  • Seven+ years in engineering project management for large infrastructure.
  • Valid Class C Driver's License.
  • Strong knowledge of civil structural engineering principles and codes.

Responsibilities

  • Manages technical activities of one or more moderate, short to mid-term projects or programs with cost, schedule, and objective responsibility.
  • Develops technical plans, schedules, resources, and deliverables; leads engineering schedule and change control process.
  • Leads engineering design reviews and evaluates project documents for constructability and regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinates input from internal teams and external SMEs to support project progress.
  • Develops project execution plans, testing protocols, and quality control programs.
  • Ensures integration of design deliverables into overall project plans and oversees risk-informed decisions.
