Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 5 years of experience in Industrial engineering or Construction.
• 7 years working experience in the field of Industrial Engineering or Construction.

Responsibilities

• Works with Project Managers to understand construction targets and identify potential contractual projects.
• Interprets drawings and data for RFP and contract processes; negotiates scope as needed; assists with change orders.
• Leads job scope discussions and design reviews to provide constructability input; reviews IFC drawings and schedules.
• Manages communications with contractors and conducts job-site meetings.
• Monitors daily activities to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals; maintains planning databases and team processes.
• Acts as liaison for contractors; ensures resources and permits to maintain workflow, budget, and schedule.
• Serves as Incident Commander in field; enforces safety plans and environmental/permit compliance.
• Oversees inspections; coordinates field inspectors for adequate coverage of work.
• Coordinates engineering/design issue resolution and cost/schedule changes per DOA.
• Works with Project Managers to set planning/schedule dates for future construction.
• Provides mentoring and training to Associate and Career level employees.
