Job summary

Southern California Edison seeks a Project Manager - New Development to lead residential and commercial development projects from inception to close. You will manage scope, schedule, and budget, collaborate with stakeholders, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects within compliance and safety standards.

The role emphasizes strong communication, leadership, and data-driven decision making, with a hybrid work model in California and up to 35% travel across the service

Qualifications

• Seven or more years of experience in project management.
• Experience delivering scope, schedule, and budget commitments.
• PMP credential is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manages one or more moderately complex projects under time constraints and shifting priorities.
• Directs initiation, planning, execution, control and closure for core PM disciplines.
• Leads projects and influences stakeholders to drive goals.
• Collaborates with peers and leadership to advance projects.
• Manages planning, development, and execution of transmission/distribution projects.
• Drives milestones and reports on large projects including regulatory filings and safety documentation.
• Performs power flow and fault analyses to determine system impacts.
• Facilitates development plans, work packages, testing, and energization sequences.
• Protects private customer data and sensitive information with high standards of conduct.
