Job summary

Allied Staff Augmentation Partners, Inc. ( ASAP, Inc. ) is seeking a Senior Repair Engineer in Euless, TX to lead overhaul of customer capital components from quoting to inspection, ensuring compliance with industry and OEM standards.

You will provide hands-on leadership and project management across repair activities for turbomachinery, applying metallurgy, CAD/FEA skills, and rigorous quality practices to deliver reliable, safe, and value-adding solutions for customers.

Qualifications

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in engineering, metallurgy, a technical discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years of turbomachinery experience focusing on combustion and/or hot gas path components; turbine design/operation knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe working environment and safety excellence.
• Provide technical input for quotes, planning, preparation, and execution of gas turbine repairs.
• Review customer specifications and provide comments on quality, inspection, and testing.
• Lead customer status calls, witness inspections and tests.
• Develop and implement continuous improvement, best practices, and housekeeping techniques.
• Apply metallurgical principles to repair recommendations for turbomachinery.
• Ensure repair processes preserve metallurgical properties and repair integrity.
• Provide technical oversight and dispositions on ongoing repairs.
• Ensure repair work meets standards and adds value.
• Assist reverse engineering of turbine components to complete repairs.
• Perform service engineering tasks using CAD and criteria; liaise with engineering teams.
