Job summary

Component Repair Technologies, Inc. (CRT) is seeking a Repair Development Engineer to drive the industrialization, development, and integration of repairs for gas turbine engine components.

You will lead projects to create and integrate repairs into approved technical data, and work with OEMs to support new repair development. You will collaborate with a team of experienced engineers to learn techniques and apply FAA-approved standards while delivering high-quality repair documentation and

Qualifications

• The candidate has a four-year engineering degree (or equivalent manufacturing experience).
• Ability to understand OEM manuals, FAA regulations, and blueprints.
• Experience reading technical drawings and translating into work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Research OEM manuals to develop clear repair work instructions for gas turbine components.
• Analyze OEM manuals and diagrams to create efficient work instructions.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings for daily projects.
• Communicate component status, solve problems, and estimate repairs.
• Collaborate with OEMs to recover unserviceable components and support customers.
• Generate repair documentation with Process Engineers and SMEs.
• Review repair flow to improve efficiency and turnaround time.
• Develop and revise work instructions and tooling for production.
• Ensure repairs meet FAA-approved data and industry standards.
