Job summary

Rotating Machinery Services Inc. is seeking a Repair Engineer to lead repair activities for engineered rotating machinery at the Pearland Works facility, ensuring mechanical integrity and timely completion.

The role involves collaboration with design engineers, project management, suppliers and customers to drive effective repairs and clear work instructions. The position requires 2–3 years of turbomachinery overhaul experience, proficiency with SolidWorks/ANSYS/PolyWorks, and a Bachelor's

Qualifications

• Experience with turbomachinery overhaul, installation and maintenance in shop and field.
• Solidworks, Ansys Workbench and Polyworks Inspector are a plus.
• Strong communication and leadership skills; able to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
• Familiar with inspection and quality control practices; knowledge of API–687 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain safe working environment and uphold safety excellence.
• Develop standard work procedures and templates for inspections and repairs.
• Create project work scopes, instructions and inspection forms for jobs.
• Review shop inspection reports and generate detailed customer reports.
• Drive continuous improvement to boost productivity, quality and safety.
