Job summary

GE Vernova seeks a Gas Turbine Component Repair Engineer to lead repair development for LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100 components. You will guide engineering assessment, specification preparation, and repair substantiation while coordinating with global repair facilities and responding to customer inquiries.

You will mentor a team, drive standard work through lean practices, and collaborate with Design Engineering to ensure life and reliability of components. Travel up to 10% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Materials Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8 years engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical design and analytical background with familiarity in repair development and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for repair development and repair qualification of LM2500, LM6000, and LMS100 components.
• Lead and mentor a team of repair engineers; oversee project lifecycle and ensure safety, SQDC standards.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering for technical reviews and repairability substantiation.
• Ensure all team data and documentation adhere to engineering policies and procedures.
• Communicate program progress and challenges to GE Gas Power management.
• Drive lean practices and standard work across global teams to improve repair processes.
