Job summary

Peoples Gas System in Florida is seeking Gas Design Technician I, II, III, or Project Manager to design and coordinate gas distribution projects. You will work with customers, developers, and utilities, create drawings, perform feasibility studies, and manage documentation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Valid Driver License with a safe driving record.
• Minimum of four (4) years of related work experience; college degree may substitute.
• Ability to assist customers in making technical decisions and conduct feasibility assessments.
• Knowledge of land use and utility guide agreements.
• Ability to interpret site development plans and impacts to PGS.

Responsibilities

• Assist with customer needs assessments and feasibility reviews.
• Prepare basic designs, drawings, and documentation.
• Support permitting and coordination with municipalities and utilities.
• Maintain system records and GIS data.
• Lead coordination with FDOT, counties, cities, utilities, and contractors.
