Job summary

Peoples Gas System in Florida seeks a Supervisor Gas Operations M&R to oversee SCADA-enabled gas operations, manage technicians, and ensure safe, compliant performance across Florida. You will lead a team, schedule work, monitor volumes, and coordinate with field staff to maintain equipment and optimize operations.

The role requires strong regulatory knowledge, 10+ years in gas transmission/distribution, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and maintains SCADA system functionality and analytical tools.
• Monitors SCADA and Metretek data integrity and recommends/improves opportunities.
• Plans, establishes, and implements budget/cost monitoring for Gas Operations sub-area.
• Manages alarms, dispatches I/C Technicians and determines the most appropriate action to resolve issues.
• Leads Gas Ops and Compressor Technicians using leadership programs and creates/adjusts work schedules.
• Provides operational, technical, and analytical support to the Gas Operations team via the PGS Essentials system.
