Job summary

Plug Power Inc. seeks a Field Service Technician I to support fuel cell systems in electric lift trucks at Walmart CVG1 in Monroe, OH. You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and on-site service to ensure reliable operation.

You will report issues, order parts, and maintain field documentation while collaborating with customer personnel and internal teams. Travel to customer sites is required and safety is a priority.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with technical electrical coursework.
• 3+ years of mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds unassisted.
• Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Knowledge of fuel cell operation or lift trucks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and service of fuel cells at customer sites.
• Diagnostics, troubleshooting, and repairs on site.
• Perform field upgrades to fuel cells and related software/hardware.
• Provide emergency support and report incidents.
• Procure tools, equipment, and parts as needed.
• Travel to customer sites; drive safely and comply with safety standards.
• Maintain site documentation and communicate with customer and regional teams.
