Job summary

Plug Power Inc. is seeking a Lead Field Service Technician for Walmart CVG1 in Monroe, OH. The role focuses on maintaining fuel cells in electric lift trucks, performing diagnostics, and executing field retrofits at a designated location.

Strong communication and safety adherence are essential as you interact with customer personnel daily. The position requires 3+ years of mechanical/electrical troubleshooting, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with technical electrical coursework.
• Three+ years of direct experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and service fuel cells at customer sites.
• Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting to keep fleet operational.
• Execute field retrofits and software/hardware upgrades.
• Provide emergency support as needed and report incidents.
• Purchase tools, equipment, and parts as required for service.
• Maintain safety procedures and complete service documentation.
