XPO, Inc. is seeking a Freight Operations Supervisor in the United States to lead all aspects of freight operations. You will develop procedures, supervise hourly staff, manage workloads, and ensure safety and efficiency across the shift.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience in a warehouse, distribution, supply chain, transportation or similar environment.
• Knowledge of LTL, hazmat regulations and DOT rules and regulations.
• Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise all aspects of freight operations.
• Develop and implement strategic work procedures to meet evolving department demands.
• Evaluate, manage, assign and supervise workloads and tasks.
• Supervise hourly staff and serve as primary contact for workplace concerns.
• Ensure production goals by managing tonnage, payroll, and admin functions.
• Plan hourly schedules to meet daily goals and reduce costs.
• Enforce all policies and regulations including FMCSR, OSHA, DOT policies.
• Train employees on safety rules and processes and ensure shift organization.
• Inspect equipment and provide improvement ideas for operations within the shift.
