Job summary

RTX seeks a Principal Electrical or Computer Engineer for Fort Wayne, IN to lead design, implementation, and verification of advanced testbenches for high‑performance digital ASICs and FPGAs within the Microelectronics Technology team.

The role focuses on signal processing and information assurance for critical Mission Systems programs, with strong technical leadership and collaboration across RTL verification, tools, and project planning.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience developing and simulating RTL designs using VHDL and/or Verilog in a professional FPGA or ASIC development environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify architecture and design using SystemVerilog with OVM/UVM.
• Create test plans, test cases, code coverage tracking, and functional coverage tracking.
• Develop testbenches for RTL blocks using VHDL or SystemVerilog.
• Recommend new tools and practices for ASIC/FPGA verification flow.
• Contribute to engineering estimates for new programs.
• Provide technical leadership for project verification teams by planning activities and reporting status.
