RTX in Indiana (Fort Wayne) seeks a Principal Specialist Hardware Test Engineer to lead testing of complex electronic modules and assemblies. You will drive problem solving, support system integration, and design verification while collaborating across hardware, software and program leadership teams.

The role requires a DoD Secret clearance, U.S. citizenship, and hands-on experience with lab equipment and test automation. Onsite work at the Fort Wayne facility is assumed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or higher in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
• 5+ years of relevant experience in hardware test engineering.
• Experience testing electronics and reading schematics.
• Experience with GUI TPS software and test software development.
• Familiarity with test equipment and data acquisition tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead problem solving for complex electronic modules and subassemblies.
• Support system integration, test, design verification, and fault identification.
• Develop and implement test solutions to maximize coverage in manufacturing and service environments.
• Design test hardware and automate test software; integrate with end product.
• Collaborate with design teams and program leadership; present technical updates.
