Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Forward Deployed AI Engineer – Lead to serve as a technical bridge between research breakthroughs and strategic customers. You will own the entire lifecycle of AI deployment, from discovery to client integration, measuring success by client adoption and workflow impact.

You will travel up to 30% and operate with founder-level autonomy, delivering production-grade agentic AI solutions in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• 15+ years hands-on AI / Data / Software engineering experience.
• Fluent in Python, SQL and modern orchestration frameworks.
• Experience shipping production AI or data systems in enterprise environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead the client technical engagement and the POD delivering it: executive communication, reference architectures, and POCs.
• Drive prototype to production system builds with tight iterations and feedback loops.
• Collaborate with the engineering team to build AI capabilities in enterprise contexts.
• Optimize AI workflows for performance, low latency, and reliability under client constraints.
• Harden systems for security and compliance in regulated environments.
• Utilize agentic development tools to meet client needs.
