United States Digital Space LLC seeks a Forward Deployed Engineer to deliver data and AI solutions. You'll lead architectural decisions and engage directly with customers to ensure they derive maximum value from their data through tailored implementations.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in data engineering and cloud ecosystems, adept at managing projects and fostering customer relations. This role offers competitive compensation within a transparent pay range.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience in data engineering, data platforms & analytics, or software engineering.
• Comfortable writing code in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of two or more common Cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Deep experience with distributed computing using Apache Spark.
• Familiarity with CI/CD for production deployments.
• Working knowledge of MLOps, ML/AI models and AI APIs.

Responsibilities

• Lead impactful customer technical projects by delivering production-grade systems.
• Guide strategic customers in implementing transformational big data projects.
• Lead architecture and design decisions ensuring secure and scalable solutions.

Skills

Data engineering experience

Proficiency in Python, Scala, JavaScript/TypeScript

Knowledge of AWS, Azure, GCP

Experience with Apache Spark

Familiarity with CI/CD

Expertise in MLOps
