Eleven Western Builders is seeking an experienced Foreman Carpenter in California to lead carpentry crews on retail construction projects from start to finish. Responsibilities include managing millwork, cabinetry, fixture and décor installations, planning tasks to meet production goals, and ensuring safety on site.

You will read and interpret plans, coordinate with management and subcontractors, mentor junior carpenters, and help deliver projects on time and to customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of commercial carpentry experience.
• 3+ years leading crews or serving as a Lead Carpenter or Foreman.
• Experience with retail, commercial, tenant improvement, or remodel construction.
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Proven ability to lead teams while maintaining productivity and quality.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver's license.
• Ability to travel and stay overnight as project schedules require.
• Commitment to safety, accountability, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Lead carpentry crews and execute retail construction projects from start to finish.
• Oversee millwork, cabinetry, fixture and décor installations.
• Plan work activities and sequence tasks to meet production goals.
• Read and interpret plans, specs, and project schedules.
• Train and mentor less experienced team members.
• Coordinate with project management, subcontractors, vendors, and store personnel.
• Conduct daily safety meetings and maintain a safe jobsite.
• Forecast material needs and address issues proactively.
