Yona is seeking a Food Services Director to lead the dietary department in a long-term care facility. You will organize, direct, and supervise staff, ensuring quality service and regulatory compliance while maintaining a cost-effective program.

The role requires supervisory experience, relevant certifications, and strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Excellent coordination with residents, visitors, and other departments is essential for success.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in food service, preferably in long-term care.
• Certifications in ServSafe and CDM/CFPP are required or preferred.
• Strong leadership, organization and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Interviews, hires and orients dietary staff.
• Trains workers in procedures and operation of equipment.
• Plans and supervises dietary department functions and activities.
• Monitors quality of work and maintains proper staffing levels.
• Forecasts supplies and equipment purchases.
• Ensures records and regulatory compliance.
• Conducts management meetings and coordinates with other departments.
• Maintains cost-effective budgeting and resident satisfaction.
