Job summary

Aramark seeks a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a correctional kitchen, ensuring meals align with production plans and safety standards. You will train staff, coordinate tasks, and uphold sanitation and security policies.

The role offers $16+ per hour with strong benefits. Candidates must be 18+, with prior food prep and supervisory experience preferred and the ability to obtain a food safety certification.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Minimum 1 year of food prep or related work
• Experience supervising in a correctional environment is preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates is a plus.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates or team members.
• Must obtain a food safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and review temperature logs.
• Supervise inmates in food prep and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates in use of Aramark recipes and training.
• Ensure proper portions and special dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Maintain security, inventory, and storage procedures.
