Job summary

Aramark in Mount Hope, WV is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, ensure sanitation and safety, and train staff in proper cooking procedures. The role requires oversight of production plans and adherence to Aramark guidelines in a correctional facility environment.

You will manage portions, dietary requirements, and daily counts, while maintaining security controls and inventory processes. The position offers $15+ per hour and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• 1+ year food prep or related work preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience interacting with inmates a plus.
• Motivate and supervise inmates to meet quality and quantity targets.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and log reviews.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and HACCP guidelines.
• Assist in meal preparation and serving.
• Print and distribute recipes.
• Train inmates on cooking procedures and Aramark recipes.
• Ensure portions and dietary requirements are met.
• Obtain daily population counts and review with staff.
• Adhere to security policies and lock storage areas.
