Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, train staff, and coordinate tasks to meet production plans and meal deadlines.

You will enforce sanitation, safety, and HACCP standards, ensure proper portions and dietary requirements, and monitor logs, inventories, and security procedures.

The role carries a starting pay of $18+ per hour and includes great benefits, with opportunities to develop skills in a correctional food-service environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Must qualify for and maintain correctional facility security clearance.
• Ability to motivate and supervise inmates and/or team members.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to and maintain preparation and production guidelines by reviewing production and temperature logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and adherence to Aramark guidelines.
• Train workers and direct inmates in use of Aramark recipes.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are fulfilled.
• Obtain daily population counts and coordinate with staff.
