Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker to supervise inmates in a kitchen, train workers, and ensure meals meet production plans with proper safety standards. The role emphasizes sanitation, safety, and adherence to HACCP policies, with opportunities to lead and optimize operations in a correctional environment.

Responsibilities include supervising food preparation, training on recipes, and coordinating with staff to ensure timely meal service while maintaining security and proper inventory

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years of age.
• Minimum of one year of food prep or related work preferred.
• Previous supervisory experience preferred and ability to motivate inmates/team members.
• Must be able to obtain a food safety certification.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to production guidelines and review logs.
• Supervise inmates in food preparation and tray assembly.
• Ensure timely, efficient meal service and compliance with Aramark guidelines.
• Direct inmates and train on proper cooking procedures.
• Ensure proper portions and dietary requirements are met.
• Maintain security and inventory controls for kitchen operations.
