Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead our food services team and collaborate with a manager to coordinate operations. You will oversee staff, ensure safety and quality, and support catering events, including occasional nights and weekends.

The role emphasizes maintaining schedules, inventory, and adherence to Aramark policies while promoting growth, teamwork, and strong public relations.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production to meet safety and quality standards.
• Ensure safe storage of food items and proper handling.
• Maintain serving schedules and menu adherence.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health codes.
• Keep inventory accurate on a weekly basis.
• May prepare orders to ensure accurate production for location.
• Supervise and evaluate employees; promote growth and teamwork.
• Promote a safe and hazard-free working environment.
• Train/mentor other food service workers.
• Maintain maintenance logs for equipment.
• Complete food safety/temperature logs with corrective actions.
• Perform preventative maintenance checks.
• Recommend equipment replacements as needed.
• Be proficient at multi-tasking.
• Fill in for absent staff when required.
• Stay informed about daily catering events and deliveries.
