Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead the food services team on site. You will work with a manager to coordinate operations, supervise staff, and maintain safety and quality across all food service activities.

The role involves scheduling, training, and occasional cashier duties, with opportunities to mentor staff and contribute to catering events as needed.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Must be knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations; strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets (Production sheets and recipes).
• Direct daily activities.
• Maintain food production for safety and quality per policies and department requirements.
• Ensure safe storage of food items.
• Maintain serving schedules; serve items per menu specifications and Aramark policies.
• Maintain a sanitary department following health and safety codes.
