Job summary

Aramark Correctional Services is seeking a full-time Food Service Supervisor to lead and coordinate a dedicated team in a correctional facility. You will oversee staff, schedule production, and ensure all food safety and quality standards are met, while maintaining a safe, efficient operation and supporting occasional catering events.

Qualifications

• Must read, write, and understand verbal instructions.
• Must complete a sanitation course either before or during first year.
• Knowledgeable in operating an efficient cost-effective program.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Maintain emotional control under stress.
• Ability to resolve interpersonal situations.

Responsibilities

• Produce and maintain work schedules and may prepare production packets.
• Direct daily activities and supervise staff.
• Maintain food safety and quality per policies and department requirements.
• Ensure safe storage and hazard-free environment for food items.
• Maintain inventories and assist with orders for production.
• Train/mentor staff and promote teamwork.
• Perform other duties as needed by Food Service Director or Manager.
• Fill in for absent employees and assist with catering events as required.
