Qualifications

• Customer service and interpersonal skills required.
• Strong leadership and supervisory skills preferred.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Serve Safe Certification required.
• Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions.
• Food service experience preferred.
• Frequent lifting/transporting hot food items expected.
• Ability to work in kitchen area with heated equipment, steam, noise and chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Lead food preparation and assist in daily station setup.
• Coordinate setup and breakdown of stations designated by the manager.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions when preparing and serving items on the line.
• Maintain daily temperature logs.
• Take samples of all food items prior to serving.
• Alert management to any items not meeting quality expectations.
• Complete opening and closing station checklists.
• Greet customers and respond to feedback with a positive attitude.
• Maintain clean work stations and sanitation of utensils and areas.
• Assist with safety observations and report hazards.
• Cross-train in additional areas as needed.
• Work in concessions, catering, and special events as required.
