Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Food Service Worker Lead to assist with food preparation, portioning meals, and serving customers. You will learn on the job under guidance from the manager and develop strong connections with the people we serve.

Responsibilities include leading line operations, maintaining portions and temperatures, and ensuring cleanliness and safety. Prior food service experience and a customer‑first attitude are preferred; Serve Safe certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proven leadership or supervisory experience.
• Food safety experience preferred or Serve Safe certification if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Lead all aspects of daily food preparation and station setup.
• Coordinate and assist in setting up and breaking down stations as directed.
• Cook and prepare foods according to recipes and directions.
• Ensure accurate portions and maintain proper food temperatures.
• Greet customers and handle feedback with a positive attitude.
• Maintain clean, organized work stations and sanitary conditions.
• Assist with safety observations and report hazards to management.
• Cross-train in additional areas as needed by the manager.
• Perform tasks as requested by supervisors or Aramark management.
